special device unknown. Or mount -w /dev/usb (or usbN) /mnt needs block device. There is a first time for everything. man usb does not tell me. and Absolute BSD (M. Lucas) does not say anything about usb devices let alone how to access them. Thank you for patience and guidance Jeff K
