Some weeks ago Vodafone provided me with a test item (but they asked me
to return it) and it worked without problems; details here:

Hey,
I have serious problems getting that thing working.
I followed the instructions here:

Somehow I end up with:

   Sep  8 18:20:54 jupiter kernel: ucom0:  on uhub0
