As Joe said update your ports tree.
For example:
# /usr/local/bin/cvsup -L 2 /path/to/ports-supfile
# /usr/bin/make -C /usr/ports fetchindex
# /usr/local/sbin/portsdb -u
# /usr/local/sbin/pkgdb -F
If you don't use the GUI use option "-g"
Have a look at:
# man 1 cvsup
