Can anyone explain, why everything worked fine on 5.4 and locks up on 6.4?
I am upgrading the box to 7.1-STABLE now via cvs.
and it will probably fix your problems as ACPI support is constantly
improved == more workarounds are added for buggy ACPI bioses
