How about running it in the background. Just put an ampersand behind the command, ie: # progname & will run the program progname in the background and kick you back to your shell. > ALSO: I am not sure how to run the program at boot. > Write a script that contains the startup command for the program, end the script with a .sh extension and make it executable.
