Apparently not -- but you sohlud try asking on a Knoppix list for a definitive answer. Alternatively, you could try FreeSBIE -- http://www.freesbie.org/ which is a Knoppix like OS-on-a-CDRom thing, but based on FreeBSD rather than Linux. If you're trying to recover data from a damaged system, then you may find the 2nd CD from the installation set useful -- it won't give you an X desktop, but it will make all of the important FS management tools available to you.
