The first thing that comes to mind is to install "Printing Services For Unix" so your W2K system becomes an lpd server. In addition to Samba ... you should be able to use cups to print. You can use apsfilter (http://www.apsfilter.org/index.html) with samba to do this quite effectively. Verify the model of printer against the list of support printers, and (accordingly) it'll be fine.
