Dan, "-Wno-pointer-sign" is not the command line option of gcc-3.4.*,
but of gcc-4.*. Interestingly, this will probably work (without deleting
what is already built):
# cd /usr/ports/x11/nvidia-driver/work/NVIDIA-FreeBSD-x86-100.14.11/src
# make
# cd /usr/ports/x11/nvidia-driver
# make install
