I just installed 7.0 STABLE on a brand new Dell SC1435 (dual AMD 64bit dual core processors), and I'm experiencing a very weird problem. If I try to do anything with the network, I lose connectivy.

For example, if I run /etc/rc.d/netif restart, when the interface comes back up, it says the media has no connection. If I reboot the box, it works fine.

If I try to bring up an alias interface on the same NIC the network goes away and the box has to be rebooted.

Did something change on 7.0? Or have I got some sort of bug?
