Freebsd 4.10 release(do you know any browser with flash support???)
Hi, I'm using quanta to develop html applications with embedded .swf in it. What I want to do is to see its preview in a browser while I'm doing the programming in quanta. The problem is.. I don't know if there's any browser that supports it. The konqueror flash plugin instruction in freebsd.kde.org requires specific version of freebsd(5.1,4.9 stable). My problem is, I'm using freebsd 4.10 release. I tried that instruction, but it didn't worked(of course after successfully installing flashplugin. Do you have any brighter idea instead of just doing the whole html programming in Windows and avoid having problems with flash animations? Because I'm just a begginer html programmer and I find kde's quanta, so helpful specially in automatically displaying possible attributes of an element. Any browser? In freebsd 4.10??? Hi all, I'm trying to setup freebsd 4.9 at work as a desktop. I'm having problems with flash, even though I installed it from ports (linux-flashplugin-6.0r69 and flashplugin-mozilla-0.4.10_2 and to name a few ), I still can't view some sites. www.macromedia.com (it says I need to download linux flash whatisthematrix.warnerbros.com/vtour/zionarchives.html (nothing shows up) I applied what the install said about copying some files to the plugins directory of mozilla. You might have more luck with the binary linux mozilla port. Try de-installing the linux-flashplugin port, installing the linux mozilla-bin port, and then reinstall the linux-flashplugin. I guess that could be because: flash == shockwave flash director == shockwave Maybe you're trying to view shockwave stuff that flashplayer won't play? I went to this site to test it www.coraccess.com (Customer insists on this site), a partial of the website shows up, not all of it, plus on my xterm I get the following error: /dev/dsp: No such file or directory Improper call to JPEG library in state 202 Unable to read JPEG data My mozilla then freezes and I have to kill the process and restart mozilla.
