You could try playing around with some of the sound sysctls:

hw.snd.latency_profile
hw.snd.latency
hw.snd.feeder_buffersize

(try 'sysctl hw.snd' to see all sysctls).

Hi All

I am experiencing sound jitter when watching video or listening to
music.
I have tried many players (vlc, mplayer, xine ... etc) with different
cache settings -- same result.
It jitters even if the computer is not busy.

Has anybody else experienced this ? is there a fix ?
