Sounds like you didn't do a buildworld first.

ok so i got everything done up to this point after i type make installworld things go 
and after about 8 seconds this bunch of things come up and i got one of the lines 
saying

error "esreldate.h must not be used in the kernel, use sys/param.h" what is that 
about? can someone help me?
