bsdconfig

2016-12-16 Thread Peter Fraser
Hi All I wouldn't mind a little info on bsdconfig. I couldn't so far seem to find what I was looking for. I have a FreeBSD 11.0 server up and running fine. I added an additional drive and wanted to format and initialize the drive. I thought bsdconfig could do this but strangely, I can't seem to.

Upgrading boot from GPT(BIOS) to GPT(UEFI)

Hi everyone, A few months ago I got myself a new box and I have been happily running FreeBSD on it ever since. I noticed that the boot was not as fast as I had expected and I've realized that, while my disk is GPT partitioned, the boot process is still BIOS based: % gpart show => 34
