This fix solved the problem for RPI-1B. I’ll do some more testing on other RPI
and nanobsd variants.

I ran in to this issue on stable/11 today . I feel like I saw this in
the past but I can't track it down.
This is a new install on a brand new Dell r630 fitted with 2x
e5-2699v4 cpus . Fresh install of 11.0-RELEASE amd64 install . The
