I'm running 9.0-BETA3 (r225827) and now rebuilding all my 1215 ports (I've upgraded from 8.2). I'm getting panic. Is it known problem/already fixed somewhere? Do you use custom kernel config ? Is there a chance you have ZERO_COPY_SOCKETS option enabled ? Yes, ZERO_COPY_SOCKETS is there. Ok, this is the cause. Remove it. So, ZERO_COPY_SOCKETS is broken? I asked for some additional data below, which you ignored, but I believe that I will not see anything new there, after we found the ZERO_COPY_SOCKETS in kernel config. Sorry, didn't noticed that. Tamarack Gigabit Ethernet driver needed (v_id=0x13f0, d_id=0x1021)
[Excuse me for such huge crosspost, I just don't know which list is more appropriate for this question] I'm running FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE-p3 I need driver for ${Subject} ethernet controller. I have found one: http://www.icplus.com.tw/Data/driver/TC902X_FreeBSD.zip (you have to do little trick to get the actual driver: download .zip file, extract it, rename Readme.txt to rio.tgz, then extract it. Only then you will get actual driver source). It does not work, it says: rio0: Tamarack TC902x Based 10/100/1000 Ethernet Adapter port 0x3000-0x30ff mem 0xf5021000-0xf50211ff irq 11 at device 11.0 on pci2 rio0: Ethernet address: 00:50:fc:48:9b:da rio0: MII without any phy! device_probe_and_attach: rio0 attach returned 6 Could it be fixed and if yes, then how? Re: MySQL problem
Hello, Morten A. Middelthon! On Wed, Jun 05, 2002 at 11:22:24AM +0200, you wrote: I'm running a FreeBSD 4.4-REL box with MySQL 3.23.40. The MySQL-activity can sometimes get rather high, and every once in a while a query or connection will fail with the message unknown database 'some_db'. This seems to happen randomly, but usually always when the load is high. I know the database exists, eventhough MySQL sometimes claims it doesn't. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so, found a solution? Currently I'm thinking about setting up a dedicated Linux MySQL-server, but I would much rather want a FreeBSD-box 1. Did you used a port to install MySQL? 2. Why don't you upgrade it to 3.23.49, which is HIGHLY recommended by MySQL team because of important fixes? -- NEVE-RIPE microsoft: where do you want to go today? linux: where do you want to go tomorrow?
