I'm getting this on FreeBSD 6.0 as well. Can't anybode else reproduce this? It 
is a little alarming that a mere userland application can reliably down the 
system like that.

I'm not really sure anymore whether the nvidia driver has any part in this - I 
cannot rule it out however, since the nv driver doesn't recognize my graphics 
card and wine refuses to work with the vesa driver. The panics do go away 
with SMP disabled.

I've been trying to run Second Life (http://www.secondlife.com) in WINE and 
get a reproducable kernel panic when I try to quit the application. WINE is 
able to run Second Life quite well otherwise for a while, but will eventually 
crash accompanied by kernel trap 9 with interrupts disabled kernel 
messages.

The kernel panic message is:

pmap_invalidate_range: interrupts disabled
