I csupped my 9.0-STABLE kernel on Sunday and now get this message
at the beginning of booting up:
link-elf-obj: symbol ata_controlcmd undefined
KLD file atapicat.ko - could not finalize loading
Kernel configuration is GENERIC (except scheduler is SCHED_4BSD).

The same happened to me, except that I had device atapicam
