Mapping ugen devices to corresponding /dev/cuaUx ?
Hi, On a FreeBSD 8.2-R i386 system I have: ugen0.1: OHCI root HUB AMD at usbus0, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=SAVE ugen1.1: EHCI root HUB AMD at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=SAVE ugen1.2: product 0x0059 vendor 0x0409 at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=SAVE ugen1.3: USB2.0 Hub vendor 0x05e3 at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=SAVE ugen1.4: FT232R USB UART FTDI at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen1.5: USB2.0 Hub vendor 0x05e3 at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=HIGH (480Mbps) pwr=SAVE ugen1.6: Generic USB Hub ALCOR at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=SAVE ugen1.7: USB HS SERIAL CONVERTER FTDI at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen1.8: USB HS SERIAL CONVERTER FTDI at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen1.9: USB HS SERIAL CONVERTER FTDI at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen1.10: USB HS SERIAL CONVERTER FTDI at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen1.11: Generic USB Hub ALCOR at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=SAVE ugen1.12: USB HS SERIAL CONVERTER FTDI at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen1.13: USB HS SERIAL CONVERTER FTDI at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen1.14: USB HS SERIAL CONVERTER FTDI at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON ugen1.15: USB HS SERIAL CONVERTER FTDI at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL (12Mbps) pwr=ON Is there any way of knowing which ugen devices map to which devices in /dev? (The system has cuaU0 through cuaU8). Or is there any way of wiring them down (like you can SCSI devices) - as far as I know at least the FTDI's do have unique ID's in them?
