Is there any way of knowing which ugen devices map to which devices in
/dev? (The system has cuaU0 through cuaU8).

Or is there any way of wiring them down (like you can SCSI devices) - as
far as I know at least the FTDI's do have unique ID's in them?

Thanks,

-Karl

Hi,
RELENG_8 has a bit more info. Not sure when the change was in, but in
sysctl, I see things like

0(ich10)# usbconfig | grep -i ftd
ugen1.2: usb serial converter ftdi at usbus1, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL
(12Mbps) pwr=ON
ugen2.2: usb serial converter ftdi at usbus2, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL
(12Mbps) pwr=ON
ugen2.3: usb serial converter ftdi at usbus2, cfg=0 md=HOST spd=FULL
(12Mbps) pwr=ON
0(ich10)# sysctl -a dev.uftdi
dev.uftdi.0.%desc: usb serial converter
dev.uftdi.0.%driver: uftdi
