Hi, I justed wanted to let those who are interested know, that installing a low budget USB 1.1 PCI Card fixed the problem. Virtualbox sucessfully recognizes the device. Nevertheless iPhone-Syncing is not working, I learned this is because it requires at least USB 2.0.
This essentially is meaning that iTunes-Syncing for iOS-Devices is not available under FreeBSD-Virtualbox.
