Closing this as noted by egypcio@; the original report is for a branch that's
EOL and was reportedly not an issue in a later branch.

The follow-up report was a devmatch issue and fixed by imp@ before 12.0
released.

looks like this one can be closed, right?

it works fine for me on HEAD, and was reported to be fixed in releng/12.0 as
well. as I am not part of usb@, I will leave it as is and want more feedback.

For now ums.ko is attached via devmatch(8). Did you have devd running?
