OSのバージョンはFreeBSD9.0RC3です。
VirtualBoxにインストールしています。

パーティション１，２にWindows、３にFreeBSDが入っています。
「/usr/ports/sysutils/grub」よりgrubをインストールし、infoや
Webの情報を頼りに、「/usr/local/shsre/grub/i386-freebsd」以下の
ファイルを「/boot/grub」以下に配置しました。
この状態で、grubを実行したのですが以下のような状況です。

FreeBSDでgrubを使うのは初めてなのですが、Filesystem type unknownと
言われて先に進めません。
どうもWebの情報を総合すると、Filesystem typeはUFS2となるのが正しい
ようなのですが、そうならないのは何か設定が足りないのでしょうか。
あるいは、HDDからgrubを実行しているのがよくないのでしょうか。
アドバイスいただけたらと思います。
