Subject: xhciのinterruptについて

こんにちは。

マシンにUSB2.0の外付けハードディスクを使用した直後から
topコマンドのinterruptの所が15%(普段は1%未満)ほどに上昇しました。

これをダウンロードしてカーネルを作りなおせばいいのかなと思いましたが、
C言語など分からないもので、カーネルの設定ファイルの
「device         xhci            # XHCI PCI->USB interface (USB 3.0)」
をコメントアウトし、カーネルを作りなおして対処しました。
その結果、CPU使用率やload averagesは以前の状態に戻りました。

これはどう対処するのが良いのでしょうか。
