I can confirm that the latest ISO I have pulled from Microsoft (21H1) installs
fine with similar configuration. This is on a Lenovo T450 laptop:

loader="uefi"
graphics="yes"
cpu=2
memory=4G
disk0_type="ahci-hd"
disk0_name="windows10.img"
disk0_dev="image"
graphics_port="5901"
graphics_res="1024x768"
xhci_mouse="yes"
utctime="no"
virt_random="yes"

hw.model: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-5200U CPU @ 2.20GHz

Can you download and try the following Windows 10 Image:

SHA512 (Windows10-21H1.iso) =

I'm using Windows 10 on 13.0 bhyve without issues. I don't have ARC
restrictions and I use the CPU microcode.

Make sure you have your Lenovo firmware updated to whatever is the latest
release.

Just FYI, I am not using AHCI-HD for my guest storage (only CD boot), with 13,
I have swapped all guests to use NVMe no matter the underlying storage type.

Here is some stats from my system:

i tried different versions of windows 10, 21H1 for example.
I also tried Windows 7, it runs the installer, but cannot format the disk.

That all looks fine - should be no issue with memory.

Do you know the version of Windows 10 that the ISO image is ?

(In reply to Peter Grehan from comment #1)
Yes, I limited the ZFS ARC cache with settings

$ cat /boot/loader.conf | grep zfs
zfs_load="YES"
vfs.zfs.arc_max="512M"
vfs.zfs.vdev.cache.size="10M"

During the launch of the virtual machine, I have the following resources:

last pid: 91233;  load averages:  0,52,  0,21,  0,08; battery: 100%
  up 0+00:02:42  14:21:28

 488M Compressed, 789M Uncompressed, 1,62:1 Ratio

but still it falls

The dmesg indicates the laptop has 8G RAM and is running ZFS. Is the ZFS ARC
limited ? It could be possible that there isn't enough RAM to run a 4G Windows
VM.
