That is only available in the closed source edition
I recently was on the vbox irc channel and there they said a FreeBSD version of
the non-ose is in the future plans?

So, no-go with USB stack:
* commercial version does not support FreeBSD
* OSE version does not support usb mapping
What about community implementation of USB support ? Probably there are
similar projects ?

It's supported in the non-free version, and there is no such version
for FreeBSD, AFAIK.
