Ok. You could likely just try adding the ID to the driver and see what happens.

They are an option in some Lenovo laptops. I got mine off eBay.

iwn Centrino 6235

2014-12-11 Thread Eric McCorkle

Hello,

I recently tried to get around the lack of support for Intel 7260 cards
by ordering a centrino 6235 (with the M.2 form factor). However, it
seems the specific revision isn't supported:

iwn0: mem 0xb280-0xb2801fff irq 17 at
device 0.0 on pci3
iwn0: adapter type id : 0x088f sub id :0x5260 rev 11 not supported
(subdevice)

iwn0: could not attach device, error 45
device_attach: iwn0 attach returned 45

Is this just a matter of the driver not having the right ID's, or is it
likely that the hardware actually isn't supported?

Thanks,
Eric
