Not from the same kernel. If you guys want to roll HVM, then RELENG_8 (ie, 8-STABLE) should be better. PVM support in 8 and -head needs a lot of attention; but various reports indicate HVM will run fine. Let me know what you'd like and I'll see what I can upload. Adrian On 27 August 2010

I've had a decent amount of success running the XENHVM kernel, but in a 4.x Xen environment. If it can be made to work on EC2 though, then that would be worth the attention. If the XENHVM kernel won't run well on EC2 though, I've run FreeBSD in HVM mode with the GENERIC kernel through many
