Sim pois muitos ports utilizam dependencias como autoconf, bison..etcc

Em vez de atualizar por csup utilize portsnap..muito mais rápido e fácil

Oi,

você pode listar todos os arquivos instalados pelo port de algumas
maneiras:

pkg_info -L 
cat /var/db/pkg//+CONTENTS

Os executáveis serão provavelmente os arquivos nos diretórios bin
ou sbin e em geral os principais tem nomes associados ao nome do port.

Pode ser mais prático e dar um grep:

grep /var/db/pkg//+CONTENTS


Analogamente documentação se encontrará em diretórios "doc" em
geral abaixo de diretórios "share", tipo, /usr/local/share/doc ou
/usr/share/doc ou /usr/X11R6/share/doc
