[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #19670] AI considers embassy negative thing
Follow-up Comment #1, bug #19670 (project freeciv): A couple of turns later I try to negotiate again. Turns out that the only clause they would accept is that I give shared vision to them. They are uncooperative so I wouldn't expect any good deals with them, but I'm a bit surprised that they won't accept treaty where I give all my technologies to them and ask nothing in return. Well, I guess one could cheat AI by giving them useless technologies that increase their researchcost under some tech_cost_styles or to pay diplcost(?), but... at least they could accept tech that they are currently researching anyway. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?19670 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #19647 (project freeciv): Something wrong with freciv-dev mailing list? I just got bounce from email I sent two days ago (it's semi-urgen so this delay was not nice). Recent freeciv nightly builds by fullmoon fail with logs mentioning something about el.po having %-issue. Is it this bug? If so, can you make sure that el.po is fixed too when committing this, and to commit this ASAP as compilation fix. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?19647 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

[Freeciv-Dev] Gna mail was down
In bug #19647, Marko Lindqvist wrote: Something wrong with freciv-dev mailing list? I just got bounce from email I sent two days ago (it's semi-urgen so this delay was not nice). Yes, all mail @gna.org was down from the 25th, and only unwedged today. The downtime was certainly long enough for some externally-generated mails to gna.org to to bounce, so if you posted directly to freeciv-dev etc, you may need to re-post. I did some chasing with the Gna admins at the weekend. See the following tickets for more fragments of the story: http://gna.org/support/?2906 http://gna.org/support/?2907 and related support tickets. I don't know what will become of internally-generated mail such as that from bug and commit trackers to freeciv-dev and freeciv-commits respectively. It seems possible that some of it will never come through. You may want to look through Gna and svn to see if you missed anything. ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

Yet I have treaty that AI is ready to accept, but when I add clause that I will also give embassy to him, he is no longer ready to accept. After I remove embassy clause he is ready to accept again. Such embassy clause should definitely not be considered negative, and it would be probably good to consider them slightly positive. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?19670 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
