What are your opinions on migrating the 2.1 icon to the Golden Globe design?
Since 2.2 may be years away, we might be stuck with the 'superseded'
arc icon for a long time, which kind of defeats the purpose of having
decided on an overall logo for Freeciv in the first place.

I found a bug in the civserver which occured already in 2.1 Beta 2.
If I setup a server (tried on some differen systems) and some people
from the network connect with the civclient everything works, but the
server regularry crashes

When you click the Run Freeciv button, X11 is supposed to get
launched. Does it launch for you?
At this point, the Aqua application is supposed to exit, and the game
will start within X11.
