See the attached error message from gdb, with stacktrace. To reproduce, start the freeciv server with gdb freeciv-server, then give the command /set size 128. When starting the game, the server will crash. This happens often during game start, end and end-of-turn. I'm guessing that it is either because of ping timeout, or server segmentation fault. Follow-up Comment #4, bug #15510 (project freeciv): After save and load, improvement progress is lost too. Are you using 2.2.1?
