Well, I have checked that too, but I doubt it is a good
solution. I think some of those messages shouldn't be
log_normal() but log_verbose().
I did check the messages and here are my ideas about possible changes of the
log levels:
Follow-up Comment #11, bug #16429 (project freeciv):
Sorry, but I really think your patch doesn't fix the problem
on trunk.
If you mean the bug raised by file #10221 it is fixed by the patch (file
#10231), e.g. after applying the patch no error message occurs.
Have a look into

I can't see why we would need to limit Workers, Caravans, etc. For us

I totally agree with your analysis, I would have done exactly the same.
Also, I noticed a translation with Q_() of the meta message
that looks very strange, since this string can be set by the
user.
There do you find this?

As they have the flag NonMil the answer is given by the ruleset definition.

* /list ignore

string already appear strange to me), I

I did use for both log_verbose().

Most tilset subdirs on the download server now have a README file that
includes the copyleft notice.
New tarballs, the ones uploaded Sep this year and forward, will include the
notice as well.
Follow-up Comment #1, bug #16667 (project freeciv):
I assume the default language of Freeciv is notionally en_US, so
those should be Harbor and honor respectively (unless a native speaker
corrects me).
That is indeed how we spell these things in California...
