Follow-up Comment #11, bug #18481 (project freeciv):

 Has anybody been in contact with lua folks?

I sent email now. Looking that clang report more carefully it seems that this
can be real bug on some (rather obscure) conditions, and not just cosmetic
build warning. restorestack() gives pointer value with theoretically 7*8, or
3*8 (on 32bit systems), bits in undefined state.

Been fooling around with the new mapsize possibilities in version 2.3.1. I get
this message a lot.

mono: 'set mapsize XYSIZE'
Console: 'mapsize' has been set to Width and height (XYSIZE).
mono: 'set ysize 350'
Console: 'ysize' has been set to 350.
All players are ready; starting game.
in map_init_topology() [../../common/map.c::312]: assertion 'MAP_WIDTH =
MAP_MAX_LINEAR_SIZE' failed.

 I'm not sure what the local policy is on those; give in and add
 a default case or initialiser?

When absolutely necessary I go for initializers. Adding default case to enum
switch in which all the values should be covered would mean that compiler will
be happy (=not give necessary warning) if new value to enum is later added
without adding case for it to switch.
