That was changed in 2.5.0-RC1. Is there some place in documentation where you
think this should be mentioned?

 (as of RC1) Caravans are no longer obsoleted by Freight, since they can
travel on more terrain. GNAPATCH#5791

doc/README.ruleset_experimental:
Freight does not obsolete Caravan so player does not lose ability
to build units to establish traderoutes to remote cities.

Freight help:
The Freight is twice as fast alternative to the Caravan, but unable to move at
all outside flat terrains and roads.

Yes, this can be improved, the timeout limit for some of the tests needs to be
increased, so that the tests works regardless of CPU speed.

When the tests are run on Travis-CI the tests works pretty consistently. 

Do all tests fail randomly, or just some of them fail randomly?

Details:

While testing patch #6310 I noticed that the logic that is supposed to save
just those settings that would not work if changed later (like change to map
generator parameters when map has already been generated) catches many false
positives.
It relies on setting_is_changeable(), but setting can be unchangeable by user
for reasons not applicable for the case of saving them. Most notably setting
locked by a ruleset gets saved though the intent there is obviously that the
ruleset, even if updated to version with different value, wants to control.

I have tried to document all the changes I did. I may have changed other
things by accident.

The sprites are supposed to be as in the original image. The colors are
supposed to be as in the original image. The relative position of each sprite
inside its cell is supposed to be as in the original image. (I moved the lower
sprites up to fill the cells left empty by deleting ts.glowing_rocks2 and
ts.glowing_rocks3)
