Out of business might be an argueable definition (Gorbachev is, Prodi is not) but I think we can solve it. The reason to exclude active leaders is to avoid too hot political discussions about their importance. There is no need to extend this on still living ex-leaders IMHO. Yes, out of business it too non-formalistic definition. To my mind, Gorbachev still acts in social and political life of Russia (For example, his recent letter to Gates) And, FWIW, I think Gorbachev earns a mention in the ruleset. A mention - yes. Place in leader list - not now. This is my private opinion, of course. Especially grave are the cases where the first letter of a name is 'extended' as in Icelandic Ásgeir Ásgeirsson or Azeri Əbülfəz Elçibəy. I don't know how to deal with this smoothly. Maybe the best way is to allow only ASCII in leader names. But that would upset users of languages that look odd without diacritics, for example my own native Swedish. That is why attempt to install module during build fails. Moreover it is wrong to modify files, which belong to other packages before actual install. (As you produce only package without actually installing anything). This modification is done during package installation with %post script. Fedora packagers will need to block this behavior and also will need dsc file for running %post during package install. In absence of Inkscape make will fail trying to execute convert_png. However, if we will keep adding PNG to SVN this rule will never be used during 'make' or 'make dist'. I feel update-po is very different from this use-case. BR, Daniil. ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

He did some work on uk.po a year or so ago. ~Daniel Nope, І haven't. Ukrainian is one of two my native languages (the other one is Russian). I think Roman is from the western part of Ukraine, because of some words he uses. The most notable is a translation 'embassy' as English-borrowed 'ambasada'. Officially it is translated as 'posol'stvo', which is Russian-borrowed. You can check it from a website of any Ukrainian embassy http://www.ukrainaemb.se/ I think Roman can correct my mistakes later if he will have such desire. The translation 'Your diplomat failed' as 'Твій дипломат жінка' (Your diplomat is woman) was the best. :) Thanks, Daniil. ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

There are always ways! ;) However, if you want to use the rainbow flag, this nation will have to be set to 'conflict' with the Inca nation, since having two nations with near-identical flags in a game is potentially confusing. ~Daniel So, I sat down and made a simple Queer/GLBT nation as a proof-of-concept. Leaders are people somehow related to the gay rights movement, picked while reading the relevant Wikipedia article. Cities are a few 'queer' sexual orientations/identities. Has to be expanded. If someone has a better idea, another kind of city list could be used instead. Oh, and the 'legend' is meant as a joke and a placeholder until someone who is well versed in GLBT history can put together something more educational. The flag is from Wikimedia Commons.
