Follow-up Comment #2, bug #15805 (project freeciv): the variable city radii patches are applied to freeciv. Please test the gtk client of 2.3 (or trunk) using the experimental ruleset. That's missing is a nice possiblility to display the bigger city radius for the xaw (and sdl client).
