[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #14311] no way to reset the server if a savegame was loaded

2009-10-06 Thread Matthias Pfafferodt

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #14311 (project freeciv):

a running game can be stopped / ended without quiting the server by /end. If
a savegame was loaded this game has to be started to end it. The default
behavior would be that this savegame can be stopped /ended also by /end and
the server would be ready to load another game or start a new one.

Follow-up Comment #5, bug #14311 (project freeciv):

I think I begin to understand your problem. You are requesting a way to
cancel a game loading, right? Then I am not sure that the /endgame command
would be really appropriate. I would suggest you an /unload (there are quite
similar commands in warclient). What do you think?

Follow-up Comment #6, bug #14311 (project freeciv):

I checked the warclient code and found /unload before I send the last
message. But unload is only for maps? But yes, this would be that I request
with this ticket.

Priority: 5 - Normal = 1 - Later
 Assigned to: pepeto = None

Follow-up Comment #7:

Yes, you are right, it is to unload maps loaded with /loadmap or scenarios
loaded with /loadscenario. But it should be so different...

But, I doubt this work is enough urgent for 2.2 beta1, so I will leave this
ticket open with lower priority. Thank you.
