We are setting feature, bug, etc. trackers at
http://www.hostedredmine.com/projects/freeciv

Updates to tickets there are not sent to mailing list yet, but you
can follow them from
http://www.hostedredmine.com/projects/freeciv/activity, available also
as atom feed.

[Freeciv-Dev] Gna shutting down

Since this is the first time the shutdown has come up on -dev:

 * We found out a couple of days ago. It was posted on gna.org front
page on 31 Jan; previously mentioned in Nov on a mailing list (that
apparently none of us were subscribed to, oops):

 * We're still considering where to migrate to; it's being discussed on
the project admin list. I think it likely that we will move from svn
to git, although we reserve the option of sticking with svn for now.
Nothing else is decided. (The ticket history and tracker makes this a
less straightforward decision than you might think.)

 * We've got a few months yet. (Gna admins were not very clear on
timeline when I asked them on Friday, but say there will be further
   announcements)

 * I have backups of much of the material on Gna (including svn and some
ticket history), and will work to maintain them in case it disappears
unexpectedly soon. (I've also alerted archiveteam.org and they are
doing their usual thing, although we should not rely on that)

Don't panic.
