The localized docs in svn (residing in doc/**/) are terribly outdated - most for 1.14 and some even older. All docs in svn - including the translated ones - have already been copied to wiki (I spent some hours today finishing the job) where they are more visibile and everyone can help out maintaining and updating them. I suggest removing them from svn now, keeping only translated READMEs who should be brought up to date with the help of freeciv-i18n ML. We will lose translated BUGS, NEWS, and TODO (which haven't been copied to wiki) but these are all hopelessly incomplete and/or outdated.
