Follow-up Comment #1, bug #14990 (project freeciv):
In 2.1.10 (and before), click View-City Production in the top menu. In
2.2beta1 it is View-City Production Levels.
I think that this should be on by default...

As somebody wrote before, this is an option in the production menu. Please,
test it and confirm or not this fixed your problem.
