I think the patch in bug #16464 will make this go away for the current crop.
Doubtless they'll creep back in as people (reasonably) use apostrophes in
comments.

This is presumably a side effect of telling xgettext that these files have C
syntax when they don't. I can't see that there's much we can do about it.
