[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #16792] Paths longer than 99 turns are not supported.
Update of bug #16792 (project freeciv): Status:None = Ready For Test Planned Release: = 2.3.0 ___ Follow-up Comment #5: This should take care of the default tilesets. Amplio and Amplio2 have the same sprites, as do Isotrident and Isophex, so they're included only once each in the tarball. Two bugs spotted: - You get this (now inaccurate) output in stderror when a goto exceeds 100 turns: 2: Tileset amplio2 doesn't support long goto paths, such as 100. Path not displayed as expected. - When a goto exceeds 999 turns (which is bound to be extremely rare) the sprite appears as '00'. At this stage you probably want to throw the error above. Follow-up Comment #3, bug #16792 (project freeciv): Yes, and probably some code support, I can do it if you wish. Path gfx are path.turns_%d, but no tilesets define them. The it uses city.size_%d instead. But the maximum is set to 99. We probably should grow it to 999. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?16792 ___ Message posté via/par Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #16792 (project freeciv): Path supporting it attached. It needs at least to define the 0 decimal value. Follow-up Comment #2, bug #16792 (project freeciv): What's needed to add support for this in tilesets? Update of bug #16792 (project freeciv): Category:None = rulesets Priority: 5 - Normal = 3 - Low Assigned to:None = dmarks ___ Follow-up Comment #1: The current tilesets doesn't handle more than 99 turns paths. It stays at 99 and print the error message. Since 2.3.0 will have huge map support, it would be really useful to improve this. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?16792 ___ Message posté via/par Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
