Follow-up Comment #4, bug #16838 (project freeciv): I had misunderstood the bug - in a big game, the status is updated late rather than never: up to 10s after accepting the ceasefire agreement. The exact time is random, though. I had a 50% repro rate in the beginning of a 25 player game.
