This would result in a similar problem but with light colors. In the patch it
is solved by displaying data which is not really needed if the color is shown
(i.e the color code).

The problem is that one can't use the player color as background for the
player name as the color can be dark. Thus the name can't be read. Or some
checks are added to switch the foreground color according to the value of the
background color ...
