Follow-up Comment #2, patch #2572 (project freeciv):

On my system, with this patch I couldn't do anything with the selector dialog
other than cancel it, due to the lack of buttons. The attached revised patch
fixes it for me.

I've attached before (GtkFileSelection) and after screenshots, for the
record. Looks like we lose the ability to modify the filesystem from the
chooser dialog (create directories, delete files etc), but I think we can live
with that.

Follow-up Comment #1, patch #2572 (project freeciv):

IIRC I didn't commit this back in March because it seemed to cause regression
in file deletion. Now that I looked at it again, I cannot reproduce such a
problem.
Maybe I never really had time to test it, but only assumed there to be some
problem when I looked at the code...
Anyway, as I cannot reproduce any problem, I'll commit this as is in coming
days. Considering above history it would be good if others tested this
beforehand as well.
