Hi, I am hereby releasing a new version of chkdsk. This version now has a status indicator in surface scan mode and does not stop the checking when a suspicious media descriptor was found. You can find it at: http://users.telenet.be/imre/FreeDOS/chkdsk09.zip This release seems to be stable
