there was a project called Li(d)os that was a minimal kernel running 
doemeu. It is abandoned, but I fount it in google cache

At the time it was based on slack, but it could be very interesting to 
build one based on busybox...

I could CONTRIBUTE as I have toyed a little with busybox on an ARM9 and 
I could be interested in it...
