I think I have managed to get both MSDos and Freedos though currently I cannot boot into freedos Trying to find a version of Linux that I like, I will probably pick Manjaro XFCE, that seems to run the best on that laptop and have access to the stuff I need/want which is mostly Virtual Box, and

Hi Gabriele, Hi Eric I have partition magic for dos this can create partition for freedos? I guess it can, given that it is a partition editor :-) I do not know whether the DOS version can create LBA partitions or FAT32 partitions, so if this is an old DOS software, it may be better to use
