[Freedos-user] Broken links on the FD-Update repository
Hi all! I just noticed that for some strange reasons I got banned from the FD user list few weeks ago... Anyway, I'm back now :) I got recently a report that links on my FD-Update repository page are broken ( http://mateusz.viste.free.fr/fdupdate/ ). In fact, that URL is destinated to be used by the FreeDOS on-line updater program I wrote, rather than by humans... But indeed, human links on that page are all broken, because my listing generator forgets to add the .zip suffix to them... I will correct that when I will have a free moment. In the meantime, you are still able to download any package listed on http://mateusz.viste.free.fr/fdupdate/ , but you have to add the .zip extension to links manually. For example, to download the ClamAV version available on my repository, simply use the following address: http://mateusz.viste.free.fr/fdupdate/clamavx.zip Best regards, Mateusz Viste -- You'll find my public OpenPGP key at http://www.viste-family.net/mateusz/pub_key signature.asc Description: This is a digitally signed message part. -- SF.Net email is Sponsored by MIX09, March 18-20, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. [Freedos-user] prepackaged USB driver bootdisk
Hi! There was a prepackaged USB driver bootdisk with all available DOS USB drivers, trying to connect a device and if failed automatically unloading this driver and trying the next driver from another producer. I found it in past somewhere on google. Unfortunately I've deleted it by mistake and don't find it anymore. Do you know where to get it? [Freedos-user] image (.img) mount / manipulation software?
Under XP I am using Virtual Floppy to to mount and edit virtual floppy images (.img). Is there a similar software for FreeDOS? -- SF.Net email is Sponsored by MIX09, March 18-20, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The future of the web can't happen without you. Seams like you can temporary mount the disk and start an application. But it can't permanently mount it with a drive letter?
