Solved. For whatever reason, the normal installation sequence did not work for me. However, if one chooses option #5 on the installation screen run freedos from the CD one is presented with an E prompt. From that, one can format the disk. The /S switch is not effective I don't think, so I had to install the system next. sys e:\freedos\setup\odin c: /BOTH Then one can copy the other utilities to the c drive and configure as one likes. So far FreeDOS (FD) runs just fine under xen. I tried MetaDOS on my Samsung Android Tablet using Qemu based Limbo PC. Seems to work fine except for network support. An external USB keyboard is strongly recommended together with the Hackers Keyboard driver for Android. That would indicate that Xen is not properly providing the BIOS info about the available drives and/or the drive properties. I will likely set up a Xen host this weekend to test the Windows 10 preview, then I will see that I do a quick test with FreeDOS as well...
