Hello,

I haven't been able to solve this problem anywhere else so I thought I
would post here.

When I use a Freedos based bootable app such as Spinrite or Seatools
on my old Dell XPS-R computer I always have a lockup when I try to
boot from the CD. The screen freezes and the floppy drive light
sticks on with what looks like constant floppy access attempts. The
computer can boot from "regular" bootable CD's such as Linux
distributions and the Windows install disks.

Anyone know if I can get around this behavior and use my freedos based
boot discs on this PC?

Thanks in advance
